The Prairie Apothecary Company comes to you as a home-based business on the wind swept prairies of southwestern Minnesota near Walnut Grove. Dedicated to the use of natural herbs and oils, we strive to make our products in small batches showing extra care and healing with each one.
Meet The Team
Marcie
Always being a lover of nature and herbs, Marcie enjoys creating natural products for her family and for herself. After being diagnosed with MS in 2007, she started her journey making her and her family's home as natural as possible to improve everyone's overall health and limiting the use of man made chemicals. In doing so, she expanded her knowledge of essential oils and soap crafting. Her soap and body products became popular over the next few years and then, in 2015, The Prairie Apothecary Company was born.
Heather
Being one of Marcie's 3 daughters, Heather began her journey with The Prairie Apothecary Company in the beginning of 2023. Heather has a love for creating her own products and knowing exactly what is in them and what it does. She enjoys helping her mom with the business she created and expanding it to reach new heights!
